The booking of a carriage ride(s) offered by Les Calèches du Vieux Québec inc. through the Web Site http://www.calecheduvieuxquebec.com/ (hereinafter the « Web Site») is subject to the terms and conditions provided for hereinafter, which will set forth the agreement (the « Agreement ») between you (hereinafter « You » or the « User » or « Yours ») and Les Calèches du Vieux Québec inc. (hereinafter « CVQ »). The Agreement may be modified from time to time by CVQ, at its sole discretion, without notification.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE AGREEMENT HEREINAFTER TO USE THE WEB SITE AND/OR BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE THROUGH THIS WEB SITE.
Reservation of a carriage ride
While accessing and browsing this Web Site, the User may select and reserve one or several tours offered by CVQ by placing a reservation as provided for hereinafter. A reservation made through the Web Site by the User will not bind CVQ until the transaction is completed and accepted by CVQ. A reservation will be considered completed and final after Your reservation is accepted by CVQ which will thereafter complete the formation of the Agreement between You and CVQ.
Consent to the terms and conditions of the Agreement
When reserving through the Web Site, You hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. You also represent that You are of the legal age to enter into this Agreement and to give Your full consent. It is strictly prohibited for children or any minor to make a reservation through the Web Site.
Reservation
After having completed the information regarding a reservation of a tour in the appropriate section of the Web Site, the User shall first submit his reservation. Before confirming Your reservation, You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the chosen tour, the price as well as the billing details and must, in such a case, correct any error or inaccuracy. If it is impossible for the User to correct the error or inaccuracy, the User must promptly notify CVQ of same in writing. The User must also accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement by clicking the button entitled “I accept the terms and conditions of the Reservation of Carriage ride Agreement”. Once the reservation is final, the User shall receive an email confirming his reservation along with a detailed invoice and the Agreement in an electronic format, the whole within a delay of fifteen (15) days. The User shall be sole responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the order, to print and keep a copy of the acceptance email, the invoice and the Agreement. The User will have a delay of thirty (30) days from the date of the email in order to contact, inform and demonstrate to CVQ any error or inaccuracy on the invoice. At the expiration of such delay, the exactitude of the invoice shall be deemed correct. The price payable for each tour that You will reserve through the Web Site, is the price shown on the Web Site (the « Price »). All Prices are in Canadian dollars.
Taxes
GST and PST are included in the Price.
Payment terms
The payment of the Price shall be fully paid by credit card when reserving the tour(s) through the Web Site.
Conditions
- Tips or gratuities payable to Your driver are at Your discretion and payable directly to Your driver at the end of the tour. For information purposes, a gratuity of 15% to 20% of the Price is generally remitted to the driver.
- A maximum of four (4) adult passengers is permitted in the carriage. Each adult passenger may hold a child of three (3) years old or less in his arms.
- The itinerary of the tours offered on the Web Site is subject to modifications without notice.
- Tours offered on the Web Site are offered all year around (rain or shine). In the case of rain or snow, the carriage is equipped with a protective roof. Consequently, rain or snow does not constitute a valid motive for cancellation.
Cancellation and refund policy
CVQ may cancel at any time any reservation made through the Web Site by communicating directly with You. In such a case, the Price paid shall be reimbursed in full.
The User who wishes to cancel his reservation may do so by communicating directly with the customer service, by email, at the following address : dannydoyle@outlook.com and shall be reimbursed in full by CVQ if such cancellation is made at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance.
For any cancellation made less than forty-eight (48) hours in advance or if You did not present yourself at the agreed upon time, date and place of Your reservation, CVQ reserves its right to charge a penalty equivalent to forty percent (40%) of the Price paid when reimbursing You.
